Catholic Church. This volume starts with the Gospels and ends with Veritatis Splendor by Pope John Paul II.
The writings are divided into seven sections that trace Catholic thought through the ages.
Selections include writings from the Acts of the Apostles, St. Clemente, St. Polycarp,
Justin Martyr, St. Cyprian, and dozens more. Each selection is proceded by a brief introduction explaining
the significance of the work. If you can't afford the multiple volume collection of the Church fathers, this is
a worthy substitute.
