Purpose
This section of the Library provides documented answers to questions concerning liturgical practice. All answers are documented if possible and links to the appropriate documents are provided.
The answers provided here are not to be considered authoritative. I provide the most correct answers I can
find but cannot guarantee that I am correct 100% of the time. When reading the answers to questions please remember that just because a priest or other minister does not follow the rubrics precisely, it does not mean that the Mass is invalid or that the minister is intentionally disobeying Church law. Many times such errors are simple mistakes or habits. If you decide to approach someone about errors, always assume that the mistake was innocent and not intentional. You are much more likely to receive a positive response when acting in charity than when you act in anger or with the assumption that the mistakes are intentional.
